NEWS UPDATES - February 13, 2009
Park Update - The Town has notified us that new spectator stands will be elevated to allow viewing over the field fence. The new stands will be in place well before the start of our practices in July. Download Town of Huntington Synthetic Turf Rules & Regulations.
Our First Games will begin in September. Players, Cheerleaders, Coaches, Parents and Friends are reminded that our Number 1 goal is to demonstrate the highest possible levels of Good Sportsmanship this weekend and every weekend throughout the season.
Journal Ads - Needs Volunteers to help sell Journal Ads. The Journal will be distributed at the annual awards event.
Team Sponsorships - Sponsorships are available for all teams. Please leave a message on the Bulldog Voicemail for additional information.
Incident Reports - Forms are also available from your team mother or from the concession stand. Please let us know about any problems and concerns so that they can be properly addressed. Download Incident Report Here
Accident Insurance Claim Form - This is the Insurance Claim form that needs to be filed in the event that an Injury sustained during HYFL activity requires medical attention. Download Claim Form Here.
Fund Raising – Raffles. The single raffle book, which was purchased by each family, was your minimum commitment to the league. Please do whatever you can to sell additional raffle tickets to family and friends. They bug you with their fundraisers it's payback time. Remember the HYFL is set up as a Not For Profit Corporation. Every dime that we raise goes back into the program. Every raffle ticket that you sell goes right back to your kids.
Board Meetings – Board meetings will be held every other Tuesday after practice. Board meetings are open to all.
Clean Up – Please continue to make sure that the park is always left at least as clean as it was when we arrived. The town has supplied us with an ample supply of trash receptacles. Please use them and encourage others to do the same.
Concession Stand and Merchandise Sales – Our concession stand and Merchandising profits help to defray the costs of running the league and help us to provide more equipment and training materials to the participants. Please support the league's efforts by patronizing the concession stand and volunteering to work the stand during practices and game days.
